Use Stevia Instead Of Sugar

You won’t believe what I saw yesterday!

I was sitting at Gloria Jeans doing some computer work and waiting on a meeting, when all the sudden a middle aged woman comes and orders a Skinny Vanilla Latte.

No big deal, right?

Clearly, this lady comes in every single day as the entire staff behind the counter knew her name and exactly what she wanted to order before she even said anything.

After she gets her skinny vanilla latte, she heads over to the “goodies” counter and pours 3 (YES 3!!) bags of sugar into her coffee.

Hmmm….I guess that’s Skinny Latte is not so skinny anymore…?

I was shocked. I couldn’t believe this woman had just put 3 entire bags of sugar into her coffee…And clearly she does this on a regular basis.

As I sat there in disbelief, I thought to myself, “How in the world do people do this every single day”?

However, being in the nutrition world, I know that people are addicted to sugar, and it’s not getting any better anytime soon.

Did you know you’re possibly eating [or drinking], on average, 23 teaspoons of sugar a day and you probably don’t even know it?

And the more you eat it, the more you crave it!

Here’s the really scary part – even if you are on a “sugar free diet”, there’s a strong chance you are STILL consuming this toxin that is destroying your metabolism and leaving you feeling lethargic.

Some people blatantly consume massive amounts of sugar (like the lady at Gloria Jeans), but many folks don’t even know they are consuming sugars in so called “healthy foods”.

Did you know that 1 can of tomato soup has 7 teaspoons of sugar?

Did you know that 1 cup of Yogurt has almost 14 teaspoons of sugar?

Even the so called healthy foods often times contain an unhealthy amount of sugar.

If you are struggling to lose fat, there’s a strong chance that you are consuming even more sugar than the average person.

==> Scary statistic – 23 teaspoons of sugar a day is the equivalent of 20 bags of sugar of the course of a year…Yikes!!!

And it’s not just the empty calories sugar provides that is so harmful.

Sugar is made up of two molecules— one called glucose and the other fructose. They separate in our gut. The glucose circulates throughout our body feeding our muscles and our brain.

But the fructose goes right to your liver. It’s in that organ where all kinds of problems begin, including making your ability to burn fat come to a halt.

When you metabolize fructose in excess, your liver has no choice but to turn that energy into liver fat and that liver fat then causes all of the metabolic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

Or more bluntly put – Sugar is Poisonous!
