Don’t Sucker Punch Your Pancreas

It sneaks in to so many so-called ‘health” foods, ruining them…like Almond milk, pasta sauce, protein bars, and even our beloved almond butter!

It’s cane syrup. Evaporated cane juice. Cane goo.

But this is just plain old SUGAR with an “organic sounding” name. It’s still sugar, and it will destroy your fat loss efforts and your health.

In fact, according to a study from the British Medical Journal, simply drinking fruit juice (a concentrated source of sugar) is associated with an INCREASE in the risk of diabetes. YIKES.

And then those sneaky food companies go and add even more cane syrup to fruit drinks that poison our children…and our fat loss efforts.

The solution? No added sugars (check the labels for cane syrup, cane sugar, cane juice, etc.). Eat real food. Make real healthy recipes that deliver delicious eating.

Hey, listen…

The fact is that 98% of all family dinners are loaded with enough bad fats, gluten, dairy, and cane sugar that cause us to gain fat, feel bloated, and zap our energy.

The pancreas is one of your body’s organs that controls the release of insulin.

When you eat or drink sugar, it causes your pancreas to release insulin into your bloodstream.

Insulin helps drive the sugar into your muscle and fat cells, so that’s why you want to keep blood sugar – and thus insulin levels – under control.

But when you consume food or drinks with a lot of sugar (like foods spiked with cane syrup or other versions), you SUCKER punch your pancreas, making it pump out massive amounts of insulin to deal with the increase in blood sugar.

Over time, your muscle cells become “insulin resistant”.

Insulin no longer does its job properly, causing the pancreas to pump out more insulin (but that’s ineffective).

That leads to Type-2 diabetes.

Thus, cane syrup, and all added foods with added sugar, are SUCKER punching your pancreas!

So eat real food instead. Drop the sugary drinks. Kick cane syrup to the curb.

Just say NO to sugar, syrup, and the diabetes.
