Start your day motivated at the gym OR hit snooze and go back to your dream.
This is where motivation comes in. Here are 3 ways to get more motivated for your workouts.
1. Envision the future you desire – It is so much easier to be motivated to achieve when you have the future clearly staring you in the face. Look at a picture of your favorite physique, remind yourself how you looked when you were in better shape, or envision the members of the opposite sex giving you more attention. Whatever you need to see in the future to make pain in the present worthwhile!
2. Create environments and habits – You can create your own environments and by extension the habits that come with them. If your friends all love to drink alcohol all night and never visit the gym, you should spend less time in this environment. It will create bad habits. Instead, have friends who want to visit the gym and make it routine to go with them.
3. Tools are your friend – Everything is a tool. Motivation comes in many forms, but sometimes it is chemical. I use caffeine to feel more motivated and invigorated in the gym. It’s just a tool like anything else.
