3 Reasons To Eat Red Meat

I’m sure you’ve probably heard your doctor say you need to avoid red meat to keep your cholesterol at healthy levels and prevent heart
disease.

Then you’ll turn around and hear guys like me tell you how “healthy” red meat is…

Especially if you buy “grass fed” or get it from a local farmer you can trust.

So, here are 3 reasons why your doctor is DEAD WRONG about Red Meat:

Reason #1 -TONS of Essential Vitamins

Unprocessed red meat is loaded with vitamin B and D, two essential nutrients.

Vitamin B deficiency is associated with premature aging, neurological disease, cancer, heart disease and infertility.

But a big juicy steak is chock full of Vitamin B and it’s very easy for your body to absorb.

Also, red meat has tons of vitamin D.

Most of us are vitamin D deficient. Especially those of us who live in Northern areas where there is  hardly any sunshine during the winter months.

Shortages of vitamin D lead to bone problems like rickets and osteoporosis.

Eat some red meat every week and your body will get plenty of vitamin D.

Reason #2 – Fat Burning Protein!

Ounce for ounce, red meat contains some of the best fat burning protein on the planet.

This will make you feel full and satisfied after a meal.

It also requires the most energy for your body to digest, so it boosts the amount of calories your body burns after you eat.

Simply put, you’ll eat LESS crap and burn more fat when you eat red meat.

Reason #3 – LOTS of Healthy Fats

If you’re eating “grass-fed” beef (which I recommend) you’re also going to get a bunch of heart-health  Omega-3 fatty acids and loads of conjugated linoleic acid (an all-natural fat burner).

Now you can clearly see why buying high quality red  meat is a great way to improve your health and lose fat FASTER, while supporting local farms that care about animals.
