I feel bloated!”
Have you EVER said this once or twice to yourself?
Well then, have you stopped lately and done a simple calculation of how much water you’re drinking daily?
You know, this could be one of the problems that could be holding you back from your dream body.
Most folks simply underestimate how effective hydration can be for helping you stay in tiptop shape, lose weight and burn more fat.
Even mild dehydration can have negative effects on both physical and mental performance and health.
Just look at all the benefits of staying properly hydrated:
1) Drinking water can temporarily BOOST your metabolism by as much as 30%.
2) Drinking water 30 minutes before meals can suppress appetite.
3) Drinking more water can prevent constipation and help withkidney stones.
Also, the more water you “give” your body, the LESS it will hold onto.
So if you feel like you’re retaining water or bloated, just simply drink MORE water.
Also, keep in mind, all metabolic processes that take place in the body operate more efficiently and effectively when you’re properly hydrated.
How much per day?
A good rule of thumb is to consume 50% of your total body weight in ounces.
So, if you weigh 150 pounds, then you should be shooting for a minimum of 75 ounces daily—especially if you exercise.
Yes, you’ll pee a lot more. But it’s worth it.
