The following cues apply to most videos :

  • Look forward, not skyward, nor down
  • Always flex glutes as you extend the hips
  • Keep shoulders down
  • Ribcage high
  • Feet forward ( maximum 10 degrees splay allowed )
  • Exhale with the effort ( concentric phase )

Stand on the band. Ensure it is NOT taut between your feet. Look forward, not up, nor down. This helps to maintain neutral spine. Exhale as you extend your hips ( stand up )

Go as low as you can without lifting the heels. Neutral spine throughout the lift. Look forward, NOT up, nor down. Exhale with the effort, which is as you stand up.
