Pasta with ham, tomatoes & feta

With this family-friendly pasta ready in just 20 minutes, you’ve got more time to sit back and relax.

Cooking Time

20 minutes

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 300g Woolworths Select Rollini pasta
  • 1 1/2 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x 250g punnets grape tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 200g sliced ham off the bone, chopped
  • 150g feta, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup small fresh basil leaves

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the tomatoes soften slightly.
  3. Add the pasta, ham and feta to the tomato mixture, and toss until well combined and heated through. Sprinkle with the basil. Season with pepper to serve.

Notes

  • Budget tip: Omit the feta and top the pasta with shaved parmesan to serve.
  • Variation:Tuna & dill tomato pasta: Replace the ham with a 425g can tuna in oil, drained, flaked. Replace the basil with fresh dill
