Avoid These 3 “Healthy” Drinks

Avoid These 3 “Healthy” Drinks for a Flat Belly

Drink #1: Diet Soda

Did you know diet soda is a $900 BILLION industry?

And on the surface, it sounds like the perfect alternative to the high calorie, high sugar sodas that make it easy to pile up fat around your belly.

However, diet sodas contain artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, and pure cane sugar which are up to 2,000 times SWEETER than actual sugar.

And studies are starting to show these artificial sweeteners lead to weight gain because they make you crave sugary foods, after all…

They’re extremely addicting and cutting back on calories by having a Diet Coke can make it tempting to splurge on a thick juicy burger, French fries, or that big bowl of ice cream later on.

Drink #2: Gatorade

It seems like everywhere these days you see people drinking sports drinks. Kids at school, parents at work, and on the surface it seems like a good option…

Hey, it’s better than soda, right?

Well, not really. A 20-ounce bottle of Gatorade has 36 grams of carbs and 34 grams of sugar.

So after that first sip, you’re sending a direct signal to your body to start storing fat. And it’s even worse when you’re sitting at work all day, or on the couch watching TV.

Plus, the zero-calorie versions are full of artificial sweeteners and other chemicals that you can’t pronounce which your body can’t digest and can lead to a host of health problems.

Drink #3: Freshly Squeezed Fruit Juice

I’m not talking about the apple juice or orange juice that’s sold at the grocery store. You already know that’s full of sugar.

I’m talking about bringing out the juicer and manually pushing the fruits through (which takes forever) and making your own “healthy” fruit juice.

Here’s the problem…

You lose most of the fiber when you juice the fruits, which helps control your blood sugar. When you simply drink the juice and throw away the rest of the fruit, you’ll get an instant blood sugar spike that will force your body into fat storage mode.
